What we collect,
and what we
do with it.
Short version: the only personal information we hold is what you choose to send us. We do not track you, and we do not share it for marketing.
Who we are
Atlas Contracting Group LLC, a roofing contractor serving the Phoenix metropolitan area. This policy covers the website at goatlascontracting.com.
If you want to ask about anything here, email info@goatlascontracting.com or call (602) 830-ROOF.
What we collect
Only what you type into the contact form. There is no account to create and nothing is gathered in the background.
- Your name — required, so we know who we are replying to
- A phone number, an email address, or both — at least one, so we have a way to reply
- A property address or city — optional. Roofing advice depends on the property, so it helps, but you can leave it out
- Your message — required
If you call us instead, we have whatever you tell us on the phone and whatever your phone shows us. Nothing from the website is involved.
What happens to it
When you send the form, two things happen.
- Your inquiry is saved to this website’s database as a private record. It is not published, is not visible to other visitors, and does not appear in search results or the site’s sitemap. Only signed-in administrators can read it.
- It is emailed to info@goatlascontracting.com, our company mailbox. If you gave an email address, it is set as the reply address so we can respond directly.
We save it before we email it, deliberately. If the email fails for any reason, your inquiry still reaches us rather than disappearing.
Two short-lived technical records
These exist to make the form work, and both expire on their own.
- If your submission is rejected — because a field was missing, or the page had been open too long — what you typed is held for 15 minutes so the form can give it back to you instead of making you retype it. It is then discarded. It is never written into your inquiry unless the submission succeeds.
- To limit automated submissions, a value derived from your IP address is held for one hour to count how many messages have come from one connection. Your IP address is not stored in your inquiry.
Visitor statistics
We count visits to this site with Cloudflare Web Analytics. It tells us how many people visited, which pages they read, which site or search engine sent them, which country they were in, and how fast the pages loaded. We use that to see which pages are useful and to keep the site fast.
- No cookies and nothing stored in your browser. Cloudflare states that Web Analytics uses no cookies or local storage, and does not identify visitors by IP address, browser details or any other fingerprint.
- No individual records. We see counts and totals, not a list of visitors, and nothing from the statistics is connected to a contact-form inquiry.
- How it works. Each page loads one small script from Cloudflare, which reports the page view to Cloudflare. If your browser blocks scripts or trackers, the page works exactly the same and the visit is simply not counted.
What we do not do
- No tracking analytics. There is no Google Analytics, no Meta pixel, no heatmap or session recording on this site. Visits are counted by Cloudflare Web Analytics without cookies, as described above.
- No advertising or tracking cookies. The site sets no cookies at all for ordinary visitors. WordPress sets cookies only for signed-in administrators.
- No third-party content. Fonts and images are served from our own server. There are no embedded maps, videos, chat widgets or social buttons. The one outside request a page makes is the Cloudflare visit-counting script described above.
- We never sell, rent, or trade your information, and we do not add you to a marketing list. We use what you send to reply to you about your roof.
Who else handles it
Running a website and a mailbox means a few companies necessarily process data on our behalf.
- Kinsta hosts the website and its database, so your inquiry is stored on their servers.
- Google Workspace provides our email, so inquiry notifications pass through Google.
- Cloudflare provides DNS, sits in front of the site as part of our hosting, and counts visits (see Visitor statistics above).
Like nearly all web hosts, these providers keep standard server logs that include visitor IP addresses for security and diagnostics. That is normal operation, not something we gather or look at for marketing.
How long we keep inquiries
We keep an inquiry for as long as it is useful — to reply to you, and to refer back to work we discussed if you contact us again later. We have not set a fixed deletion schedule.
You can ask us to delete yours at any time and we will, unless we are required to keep a record of work actually carried out.
Asking us about your information
Email info@goatlascontracting.com and ask us to:
- send you a copy of what we hold
- correct something that is wrong
- delete your inquiry
We will need enough detail to find your record, which usually means the name and contact details you originally sent.
Children
This site is for people arranging roofing work on a property. It is not aimed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Changes to this policy
If we change how the site handles information — adding analytics, a booking system, or anything that sends data elsewhere — we will update this page and change the date at the top.
This policy describes how the site actually works today, not a general template. Last updated October 3, 2026.
